This suit arose out of three joint adventure contracts among the three complainants and the defendant.

The three contracts covered respectively dirt moving jobs known as the Meridian (Miss.) job, the Mansfield (La.) job and the Modoc (Ark) job, the first two being Army Air Bases and the third the Levee along the Mississippi River, during most of the year 1943 and up to January 1944...
