Appellant operates a rooming house containing approximately twenty rental units. On November 3, 1947, acting under the Housing and Rent Act of 1947, 50 U.S.C.A. Appendix, § 1881 et seq., the Area Rent Director gave appellant notice that he proposed to reduce the maximum rents for the rooming house units, and appellant filed objection to such action.
