KNUTSON, JUSTICE.

Defendant was convicted of forgery in the second degree. He appeals from an order denying his motion for a new trial and from the judgment.

During the night of November 11, 1947, the General Roofing Company, located at 1837 East Lake street, Minneapolis, was broken into and 27 blank checks and a check-writing machine were stolen.
