The plaintiff, Randolph Laboratories, Inc., brought suit in the District Court for the District of New Jersey for a declaratory judgment against the defendants, Specialties Development Corporation and Walter Kidde & Company, Incorporated, that the Minor Patent No. 1,760,274 which is owned by Specialties is invalid and not infringed by the plaintiff's fire extinguishers.
