Mathias Schumacher died testate on May 23, 1946, at the age of 82 or slightly more than that. His wife had predeceased him, and he left no children. His heirs-at-law consisted of three brothers, Henry, Adam, and John, one sister, Lena, and several nephews and nieces. His will, executed on April 10, 1946, was admitted to probate over the objections...
