Petitioner sued for annulment of his ceremonial marriage to defendant performed in this State on May 22, 1943, on the ground of the latter's prior subsisting marriage to one Charles William Chadwick, Jr. Defendant answered denying the marriage was bigamous and counterclaimed for support for herself and a child of the union.
