Tanner, a traffic policeman of the County of Allegheny, instituted this action in trespass to recover for injuries sustained when he was struck by a tractor-trailer unit operated by an employe of Pennsylvania Truck Lines, Inc., and Kraft Foods Company was brought upon the record as additional defendant.
