Annie Lee Walker was tried in the Superior Court of Macon County on an indictment charging her with the murder of Charlie Willis Lamb. She was convicted of voluntary manslaughter and her punishment fixed at two years in the penitentiary. She filed a motion for a new trial on the general grounds only, and her exception is to the judgment of the trial court overruling the same.

The contention of the defendant was that she shot the deceased, but...
