The late minor was the sister of Edward Weeks Beebe who was killed in action on March 3, 1945, while serving as a member of the armed forces of the United States of America. At the time of his death, there was in force a National Service Life Insurance policy in the face amount of $10,000 of which the minor was the beneficiary.
