Plaintiff filed his claim in the probate court of Cook county against defendant Alex Thomson, administrator of the estate of Victor S. Johnson, to recover 6142.5 shares of the common stock of Tennessee Gas & Transmission Company valued at $132,831.56. The probate court dismissed the claim upon the grounds that the contract upon which it is based is invalid and void, and contrary to public policy....
