The Dow Chemical Company and its insurer, the Indemnity Insurance Company, have brought an appeal in the nature of certiorari from an award of compensation made to the Bay Trust Company, as guardian of Owen O. Toureau, a mentally incompetent son of Robert O. Toureau, deceased.

Decedent received an injury to a toe of the right foot on June 18, 1943, while in the employ of Dow Chemical Company. The injury was promptly reported as noncompensable...
