Claude Jarrard was indicted, tried, and convicted of the murder of William Turner, and sentenced to electrocution. The defenses relied upon by the defendant were insanity and justifiable homicide, acting under the fears of a reasonable man. To the overruling of his motion for a new trial as amended, based upon the general grounds and 24 special grounds, the defendant excepted. Held:
