This is an action for insurance benefits provided for by the National Service Life Insurance Act of 1940, as amended, 54 Stat. 1008, 38 U.S.C.A. §§ 801-818. Plaintiff's husband, who served honorably in World War II, designated plaintiff as the beneficiary in his policy of insurance. Premiums were regularly paid on the insurance through July 31, 1945.
