This writ of error and supersedeas was granted defendant, Montgomery Ward & Company, hereinafter referred to as the "store", to a judgment of the Circuit Court of Cabell County, rendered against defendant upon a jury verdict in the amount of $1,750.00, in an action of trespass on the case wherein the plaintiff, Winifred Gilmore, sought to recover damages for personal injuries sustained by her as the result of her having fallen while in the store...
