A boy eighteen months old ran or toddled from the curb onto Grassy Plain Street in Bethel and was struck and killed by a truck driven by an employee of the defendant, the owner of the vehicle. The administrator of the child's estate brought this action, upon the trial of which the sole issue was the negligence of the driver.
