Leon McClain Baylor was arrested on a warrant charging him with unlawfully operating a motor vehicle on a highway "while under the influence of alcoholic beverages and in a reckless manner." In the trial justice court he entered a plea of "guilty" and upon consideration of that plea and the evidence he was found "guilty of operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcoholic beverages."
