Claimant, a boy fourteen, suffered the loss of three fingers on his right hand as the result of an accident when he was operating a meat-grinding machine on August 4, 1944. The premises where the accident occurred were owned by the respondent, Sterling Diner, Inc. This corporation had leased to Bell and Hooks, the employer-appellant, the diner and kitchen located on the premises, and retained for its own use that part of the premises in the rear known as the commissary.
