At the end of the first quarter of 1947 the claimant had been paid $490.45 in wages for that quarter. This included $34.30 for a vacation period in the second quarter. His total wages for the year were $621.93. If the $34.30, which was actually paid in the first quarter for a period in the second quarter, be deemed "paid" within the statute in the first quarter, claimant is not entitled to benefits.
