This is an appeal from a judgment ordering the respondent in an action brought under § 8(e) of the Selective Training and Service Act of 1940, 54 Stat. 891, 50 U.S. C.Appendix, § 308(e), to "reinstate the petitioner to the position of sheet metal worker helper, which was his permanent position when he left to enter service and training, or to a position of like seniority, status, and pay, and pay to the petitioner as interim damages...
