Appellant, owner and operator of the tug Leta, and her tow of four barges, libelled the tug Whitecastle, which was pushing two other barges, for damage done by a head-on collision at night of the barges in a part of the Intracoastal Canal near its locks into the Mississippi River at New Orleans, charging fault against the Whitecastle in navigating on the wrong side of the channel, in not having proper lights on the tow, in failing to stop when...
