This is an appeal in admiralty from a decree disallowing a claim of a seamen for maintenance, cure and wages. Libellant entered the service of the Steamship "Robert Jordan" on February 8, 1944. On February 16th he signed the statutory shipping articles for a foreign voyage and thereafter worked and slept aboard the vessel until he was granted shore leave on February 19th.
