This suit arose out of a collision that occurred on January 9, 1946, in the Old Bahama Channel, which lies to the North of mid-Cuba. The Foundation Aranmore, a small steamer about 240 feet long with a 34-feet beam, was proceeding south easterly through the channel bound in ballast on a voyage from Port Everglades to Guadalupe for bananas. The motor vessel Content S, a converted yacht 120 feet long with a 20-feet beam, was proceeding northwesterly...
