In this case the United States sues the defendant for an amount of taxes on certain real estate leased by the United States to the defendant, the lease containing an agreement by the defendant to pay taxes in addition to other sums. The lease was dated January 1, 1938, and was for a period of ninety-nine years. The taxes sued for cover the period from August 1, 1938 to December 31, 1946 both inclusive but limitations has not been pleaded and...
