The plaintiff, Floyd L. Strickland, employed H. J. Loe as his lawyer to file this suit against the defendant, Ray Sellers for treble the amount of an overcharge, plus attorney's fees, based on the sale of an automobile from defendant to plaintiff in 1945, at an alleged price over the legal maximum schedule, as fixed under the Emergency Price Control Act of 1942, as amended.1 A memorandum bearing date May 24, 1946...
