In this novel case, Guter and Rohrbach, former employes of Donaldson Iron Company, sued that company on behalf of themselves and for 189 other former employes, all of whom were members of the Iron Molders Union.
The union was collective bargaining agent for all Donaldson employes and had an agreement providing for certain hourly wage rates for the several classifications of employment. The agreement expired on December 31, 1941...
