These cases were consolidated for the purposes of trial. For the year 1940 plaintiffs reported and filed individual income tax returns, which included dividends paid by the Frost Lumber Industries, Inc., a Missouri corporation, hereafter called the Missouri Company, amounting, for each, to the sum of $45,501.
