The plaintiff has brought this action of interpleader under Rule 22(1) of the Rules of Civil Procedure, 28 U.S.C.A. following section 723c.

On June 27, 1936, the plaintiff issued a policy of life insurance to Raymond F. Ward for $6,000. The beneficiaries named were Opal Ward, wife of the insured, if living, otherwise Norma E. Ward, daughter of the insured. The policy was rewritten on January 15, 1937 and reduced to $4,000, the beneficiaries...
