This is an action instituted under the provisions of Section 8 of the Selective Training & Service Act of 1940, 50 U.S. C.A.Appendix, § 308, by seven veterans of World War II, who now are, and prior to their entry into military service were, employees of the defendant, Norfolk & Western Railway Company. After the institution of the action, two of the plaintiffs, at their own request, were permitted to withdraw from the action...
