Robert Evans Poole, a member of the sect of Jehovah's Witnesses, registered on February 16, 1942, as required by the Selective Training and Service Act, 50 U.S.C.A.Appendix, § 301 et seq. and was classified as a conscientious objector. In subsequent proceedings under the statute he was ordered to report, and did report on January 7, 1943, to a civilian public service camp to which he was assigned, and remained in this camp and in other camps...
