The plaintiff seeks to recover for services rendered to the defendant in accordance with the terms of a written contract entered into on August 6, 1946, for the drilling of a well in Major County, Oklahoma.

The contract provided that the contractor (plaintiff herein) should be paid $8.50 per foot of hole drilled, which should constitute full payment for all work and labor done in drilling and casing the well and all equipment, supplies...
