Hideichi Takeguma, Yasuto Fujioka and Kingo Tajii were indicted, tried before a United States District Judge (jury waived), convicted and sentenced for the violation of the Selective Training and Service Act of 1940, as amended, 54 Stat. 885, 50 U.S. C.A.Appendix, § 301 et seq., § 11 of the Act.
