By agreement of the parties these cases are consolidated. Respondent determined deficiencies in the income tax liability of these petitioners for the year 1941 as follows:

  Marjorie A. Anderson .........     5,400.21

The redetermination desired pertains to the declared deficiency of $5,400.21 which was occasioned by the disallowance...
