On March 14, 1939, appellant, William Roy Miller, was convicted in the District Court of the United States for the Southern District of Texas, on six counts of an indictment under Sec. 347, Title 18 U.S.C. A., and was given a sentence of five years on each of counts 1, 2 and 3, to be concurrent, and of five years on counts 4, 5, and 6, to be concurrent with each other, but cumulative of the five years on counts 2 and 3, making a total term...
