Plaintiff brought this suit alleging that her husband, Henry Elton Cruse, deceased, a practicing attorney of Beaumont, Texas, had a policy of double indemnity insurance in effect at the time of his death on June 26, 1941, with the defendant company, in which she was named as sole beneficiary. The face amount of the policy, to-wit: $10,000, was paid plaintiff without prejudice to plaintiffs right...
