Selina M. Bare, a resident of the City of Washington, died testate in 1944. Kertz, one of appellees, qualified as executor of her estate. Her will directed that her executor, as soon as convenient after her death, should, for the purposes of administration and distribution, sell all of her real property in the District of Columbia at either public or private sale.
