Petitioner, in its amended petition, challenges respondent's determination of deficiencies in income tax for the calendar years 1940 and 1941 in the respective amounts of $1,181.16 and $323.86 on the ground that the deficiencies resulted from a method of computing depletion which is erroneous in that it allows depletion only to the extent of about one-third of petitioner's investment in certain gold...
