Appellant, Universal Products Company, assignee, brought suit against Montgomery Ward & Company, appellee, for infringement of two patents, in the selling and offering for sale of universal joints and parts thereof. The claims in suit were No. 4 of Patent No. 1,921,274, August 8, 1933, to Warner, for a "Universal Joint" and the sole claim of Patent No. 1,987,678, January 15, 1935, to Goddard and Ketcham for a "Universal Joint and Cover."...
