Kahn, Assistant Collector of Customs at the Port of Laredo, Texas, applied for a warrant of detention for one 1939 Packard coupe automobile, Engine No. B-305217, Serial No. 12992286, Illinois license plates No. 164 — 758, alleging that on May 13, 1943, a taxi driver, name unknown, attempted to smuggle said automobile from the United States of America over the international bridge at the port of Del Rio, Texas...
