This is a suit in admiralty under the Act of June 6, 1941, c. 174, 55 Stat. 242, 50 U.S.C.A. Appendix § 1271. The exceptions and the defenses to the libel having been stricken on the motion of the libellant, the suit was referred to a Commissioner to ascertain the damages and report thereon to the Court. The matter is before the Court at this time on the motion of the libellant to confirm the report of the Commissioner duly filed herein...
