This is an appeal from a judgment of condemnation of certain lands in Suffolk County, New York; the only issue is the amount of the award. As to this the owner alleges two errors: (1) That the court made the award itself, instead of appointing commissioners, as the New York law required (§ 14, Condemnation Law, Consol.
