An oil, gas, and mineral lease was entered into on April 11, 1935, by The Coastal Club, Inc., as lessor, and Walter C. Peters, as lessee, covering some 6,000 acres of land in Cameron Parish, Louisiana. Peters, on May 3, 1935, assigned the lease to the Shell Oil Company, Inc. Rentals for deferred drilling operations were regularly paid until a well was commenced...
