This is an action for damages under Section 205(e) of the Emergency Price Control Act of 1942, 56 Stat. 33, 50 U.S.C. A.Appendix § 925(e). Plaintiff Friedenwald claims to have rented an apartment from defendants on December 20, 1942, with the privilege to sublet or share the apartment with a co-tenant, at a monthly rental of $42.
