On July 19, 1913, Edward S. Ross and two of his sons, Linfield S. Ross and Elwyn G. Ross, organized and incorporated the Ross Holding Company in the State of Washington. They were all designated trustees. The holding company functioned as a family corporation to take and hold title to real property. Edward S.
