This is a petitory action or suit to try title to some 80 acres of land, being part of those passing to the state from the Government, under the Swamp Land Act of 1849, 9 Stat. 352. On June 29, 1883, James A. Nealy, using certificate No. 502, of what was known as John McEnery scrip, entered the S.E.¼ of N.E.¼ and N. W.¼ of S.E.¼ of Sec. 26 T 6 S.R. 13 W. and received certificate dated the same day, but it was not recorded...
