These are appeals from judgments entered on jury verdicts finding appellants guilty of certain violations of §§ 88 and 409 of Title 18, U.S.C., 18 U.S.C.A. §§ 88, 409.

Appellants were charged under various indictments, all of which related to the theft or disposition of certain cigarettes alleged to have been stolen from a railroad warehouse at Columbia, Tennessee, while they were a part of interstate freight shipments...
