This is a suit of eminent domain, involving acreage taken by the petitioner government and presently used for the Corpus Christi Naval Base. A trial before a jury was had, resulting in a verdict, upon which verdict a judgment was accordingly entered, and thereafter the defendants filed a motion for a new trial.
