In these two habeas corpus cases the petitioners seek present release from the Army and Navy respectively on the ground that in ordering their induction at this time their local Selective Service Board intentionally disregarded the applicable regulation prescribing the order of selection for inductees. In their answers filed in the cases the respective respondents take the position that they have no direct knowledge or official information...
