The individual defendant, Nathan Goldsmith, and the corporation of which he is president and treasurer were both found guilty of violating § 80 of Title 18, U.S. C.A., which makes it a crime knowingly and willfully to make any false statements in any matter within the jurisdiction of any department or agency of the United States.
