This is a motion for a new trial. After a trial in this Court, the defendant was found guilty of the crime of treason by a jury on July 2, 1942. On July 3, 1942, defendant filed a motion for a new trial, which, after oral arguments, was denied on July 13, 1942. On August 6, 1942, the defendant was sentenced to death.
