United Gas Corporation by due procedure sued the United States in the District Court to recover $2,668.14 as a balance due for gas furnished to Fort McIntosh Military Reservation at Laredo, Texas, between the dates February 20, 1938, and June 30, 1940. This balance is the difference between bills figured on a rate of $.675 per thousand cubic feet and a rate of $.55 which was paid.
